Ballasts stabilize and maintain the “arc” created by igniting Xenon gas and other noble elements. Together these gases produce a brilliant white light, which can be manipulated by increasing or decreasing the composition of certain elements in the bulb. Our manufacturers have successfully created ballasts and bulbs that produce 5000K Bright-White, 6000K Purplish-White, 7000KPurplish-White, and 8000K Xenon-Blue you will be amazed at its quality when you actually hold it in your hand and even more so when you see the brilliant light it produces. Unlike other kits comprised of numerous cheap plastic components, our ballasts and ignition components are housed together in a water-resistant machined alloy case. This design is a vast improvement on cheap HID products sold elsewhere. There are numerous benefits of unifying the ballast and the ignition components into the same housing. D2R bulbs (HID-D2R), and D2S bulbs (HID-D2S), are used on 99% of vehicles with xenon headlights. In 2002 Audi started to use D1S bulbs (HID-D1S), on the Audi A4. Others car makers are now starting to follow. D1S & D1R bulbs (HID-D1R) will not fit in D2 applications. New for 2006, Lexus uses HID-D4S bulbs.
Our HID bulbs are available in 5000K, 6000K, and 8000K. We offer HID replacements of Real HID bulbs which are NOT tinted. If you see a tinted "Xenon bulb," it is not a real HID bulb and will produce less light than a standard halogen bulb. The color emitted by a true HID Xenon bulb is the result of varying the amounts of noble elements inside the burner. When "excited" by electricity, these varying elements produce white, purplish-white, or xenon-blue lighting. HID Kit bulbs require higher voltage created by ballasts. A complete kit with ballasts and correct plugs are needed to use the complete system properly. From 5000K to 30000K Light intensity you can choose according to your need.
